The Brand

Established out of a passion to connect sculptural forms found in interior design with the wearability of jewelry, Vimeria is a season-less brand created by designer and jeweller Anna Laskin. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously hand-crafted using contemporary and ancient jewelry making techniques in her own studio in the Vancouver area. Combining conceptual artistic elements, the designs are characterized by fluid, sensual organic forms which are designed to accentuate the wearer. Continuously exploring visual and tactile forms of jewelry, each piece from Vimeria’s body of work is mindfully designed to embody longevity and crafted with premium metal alloys with a minimal impact on the environment. Vimeria is committed to a cradle-to-cradle operating model, using infinitely recyclable metals, sourcing findings from other Canadian businesses and packaging that is made from FSC-certified paper, with an aim to reduce plastic use where possible. 

About Anna

Following a never-ending fascination with the visual arts, Anna found herself designing jewelry for Toronto’s leading jewelry brands early in her career. Being filled with ideas and conceptual sketches, she made the leap to start her own brand of jewelry. With a background in Industrial Design, Anna’s designs start their life as digital renders before being converted to wearable jewelry. Ukrainian born and Israeli raised, Anna spent most of her life in Toronto, Canada, and recently has relocated just outside of Vancouver.
